‘The Unknown Soldier’ at Royal Opera House

Air-Edel’s Dario Marianelli composed the original score for ‘The Unknown Soldier‘, a new ballet created by Alastair Marriott, which is being performed this week at the Royal Opera House.

The ballet marks the centenary of the ending of World War I in October 2018. ‘The Unknown Soldier’ imagines the story of individuals caught up in the turmoil of war. In a week of sold-out performances, this ballet is one of three complementary works, with The Royal Ballet also performing Wayne McGregor’s ‘Infra’ and George Balanchine’s ‘Symphony in C’.
