The Snowman and The Snowdog - Film with Live Orchestra

‘The Snowman and The Snowdog’, the animated sequel to the much-loved Christmas classic ‘The Snowman’, will be brought to life by composers Ilan Eshkeri and Air-Edel’s Andy Burrows, alongside a live concert orchestra, this Christmas.

The first performance will take place on the 17th December at Birmingham Town Hall, and the second on the 20th December at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

2022 marks ten years since ‘The Snowman and The Snowdog’ was first released. The sequel to ‘The Snowman’ tells the story of Billy, who discovers a snowman-making kit hidden under the floorboards of his new home on Christmas Eve.  Billy builds a snowman and, with a little leftover snow, a snowdog.  As the clock strikes midnight, the two come to life and Billy joins them on a magical, fun-filled journey across the skies to attend a party filled with snowmen and Father Christmas himself.

The original score for the film was recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
