Rosie Molloy Gives Up Everything

Christian Henson composed the original music for the Hartswood Films’ series ‘Rosie Molloy Gives Up Everything’ starring Sheridan Smith, released on Sky Comedy.

“With a well-paid partnership position in a high-end Manchester accountancy firm, late-30-something Rosie Molloy should have it all.

Unfortunately, she does. Far too much of it ‘all’. Sex, alcohol, food, drugs, cigarettes – a highly-stressed workaholic, Rosie’s been self-medicating in the worst way possible, and now the house of cards is about to come tumbling down around her.

After an embarrassing incident at her brother Joey’s wedding, she wakes up in hospital and decides to change her life by giving up everything. But as Rosie juggles the ill health of her father and the possibility of losing her job, she has the dawning realisation that her addictions are destroying everything – her friendships, her family and her work life. Harder still is the realisation that perhaps it isn’t the addictions that are the problem.

Rosie Molloy Gives Up Everything follows Rosie and her family as she attempts to set forth on a new, much healthier path in life; which, crucially, means giving up. Everything. The big question is… if Rosie really does give up everything, will she still be Rosie?
