‘Departum’, the 2010 album by Lisa Gerrard and Marcello De Francisi, is available once again from 28^th April 2023 on all digital platforms, including Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon, Deezer and Spotify.

The re-release includes an extended one-hour meditation bonus version of ‘Sacred Journey’.

Very soon after meeting Lisa Gerrard for the first time in my Korea Town-Los Angeles studio, she was approached to compose the soundtrack score for a film about the life of Buddha. After collaborating on multiple demos we decided to further develop this series into what would ultimately become ‘Departum’ in view of the film’s lack of financial backing. This is a somewhat raw album from a production standpoint filled with emotional landscapes that invite the listener on a journey of self-discovery.    – Marcello De Francisci.
