After studying Music at university, Maggie trained as a music engineer and prior to joining Air-Edel worked at both the BBC and EMI.  Her remarkable music supervision career has encompassed both household name franchise blockbusters, to small award-winning independent films, TV programmes and some of the world’s most memorable television commercials.

Maggie works closely with composers, negotiating contracts, producing, music supervising and co-ordinating music recordings.  She has worked as music producer, co-ordinator and supervisor on many high profile films including the forthcoming ‘Snow White’ and ‘DaliLand’ as well as blockbusters such as ‘Death on The Nile’, ‘Paddington 1 & 2’, ‘A Boy Called Christmas’, ‘Pinocchio’, ‘Artemis Fowl’, ‘The Secret Garden’, ‘All Is True’, ‘Bumblebee’, ‘The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society’, ‘Murder On The Orient Express’ ‘Darkest Hour’, ‘Kubo and the Two Strings’, ‘A United Kingdom’, ‘Everest’, ‘Cinderella’, ‘The Boxtrolls’, ‘Belle’, ‘Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit’, ‘Anna Karenina’, ‘Brave’, ‘Thor’, ‘Jane Eyre’, ‘My Week with Marilyn’, ‘W.E.’, ‘The King’s Speech’, ‘Atonement’, ‘Gosford Park’, ‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’, ‘Beyond the Sea’,  ‘Pride & Prejudice’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’.

Recently, Maggie was the on set music supervisor for the Stephen Williams’ directed biographical drama ‘Chevalier’ produced by Searchlight Pictures. Following this, she was the music supervisor for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures live action Live-action adaptation of the 1937 film ‘Snow White’, directed by Marc Webb and due for release in 2024. Maggie is currently working on the Universal Pictures films ‘Wicked: Part One’ and ‘Wicked: Part Two’, starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, and directed by Jon M. Chu.

Maggie served as a PRS Director for many years and was an active member of the PRS Executive Board. Maggie was a member of the BAFTA Film committee for four years and is currently the Chairman of the BAFTA Archive, Heritage & Exhibitions Committee.

In 2004, Maggie was presented with The Malaika Award in recognition of her work with the African Children’s Choir. In 2012, Maggie was awarded an APRS Fellowship and in 2017 she received a BASCA Gold Badge Award. Maggie was thrilled to be presented with the prestigious Krakow Film Music Festival Ambassador’s Award this month which recognises her services to the film music industry.
