Music Editor

Andy started his music career as a runner at a post-production house in Soho, London. His first project was Frank Oz’s ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ which allowed him to demonstrate his musical talents and film-handling background. Working with experienced music editors provided a solid foundation for Andy’s own work as a music editor on countless films and TV projects, including several musicals. Most recently, Andy was the music editor for BBC hit television series ‘The Little Drummer Girl’ and TNT drama ‘The Alienist’. Recent features include  Mike Leigh’s ‘Peterloo’, scored by Gary Yershon. Andy has great expertise in preparing films for live to picture concerts with orchestra. Most recently he has worked on the live touring performances of Magic Light Pictures’ ‘Revolting Rhymes’, the Julia Donaldson animation series, as well as the world premiere of ‘Brave in Concert’ by Patrick Doyle.

Andy has also composed and produced library CDs for EMI and in 2010 he released his own documentary film, ‘Follow Me… I’m Right Behind You’, about a dysfunctional bagpipe band. He is part of the team behind http://www.spottingnotes.com, the film music management system.
