Among Nerida’s diverse credits is the Netflix film ‘A Perfect Pairing’, directed by Stuart MacDonald, Cyan Films’ feature ‘H is for Happiness’, UNICEF Award-winning animated French-Australian feature film ‘L’apprenti Père Noël’ (Santa’s Apprentice), the Fox-Walden Media/ Hallmark Channel film ‘Return to Nim’s Island’, Sony Pictures’ ‘Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid’ (US), Nine Network TV series ‘Rescue – Special Ops’, Warner Bros.’ ‘Batman: The Animated Series’ (US), animation series ‘Tracey McBean’ (ABC), the documentary series ‘Life@’ (ABC) and The National Geographic Channel series ‘Taboo’ (US).

Nerida enjoys being a part of screen music history as one of the first female composers scoring on productions in the US, and joined the elite league of female composers to score a motion picture for a major Hollywood studio when she was hired by Sony Pictures in 2003.

Nerida has been recognised with numerous awards and nominations over her 25+ year career. In 2022, Nerida received an AFTRS honorary degree and was awarded a Doctor of Arts, Film, and Television, and was invited to become a member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Her Australian Screen Composer Awards include Feature Film Score of the Year, Best Music for a TV Series, Best Music for a Children’s Series and Best Music for a Telemovie and Mini-Series. Nerida scored all four series of the BAFTA-nominated hit CBBC Canadian/Australian underwater animated adventure series ‘The Deep’.
