He studied Composition and Electronic Music in Pesaro, where he graduated with the highest mark with a thesis about the simulation of 3D sound and Ambisonics applications; he then completed the MA in Composing for Film and TV at the National Film And Television School, where he scored the BAFTA winning animation “Do Not Feed The Pigeons” (2021), the GSA BAFTA finalist “More Than Just Memories” and the GSA BAFTA shortlisted “Painted Ladies”.

He scored his first feature film with the horror anthology “German Angst” (2015) directed by Jorg Buttegereit, Michal Kosakowski and Andreas Marschall; the film was presented in several major film festivals and Film Markets including the EFM Berlinale and the Rotterdam IFF, other than several theatrical releases in Germany.

His long-time passion for video games lead him then to compose music for several Indie titles, while also collaborating with the Chinese composer Weifan Chang as arranger and orchestrator on Playstation and PC titles such us Asterigos (2022) and Sherman Commander (Q4 2023).

In 2022, he scored “Within Sand” directed by Moe Alatawi, the first Saudi feature to shoot in Neom; the film won the jury prize at the Red Sea International Film Festival.

Fabio composed the music for the Italian remake of the successful series “Call My Agent” (2023).
