Curation
We work with directors, producers, and writers to find the right music for your project. Through creative collaboration, we source tailored track options that fit each scene and help shape the musical direction of your project, drawing from a wide range of musical knowledge across different genres and disciplines. We refine selections based on creative feedback and adapt to editorial changes throughout production. If required for either creative or budgetary reasons, we can oversee the creation of new recordings of existing works.
Licensing
We clear and license music for film, television, advertising, and digital media. Our team negotiates sync and master use rights with labels, publishers, and artists, navigating territorial rights and usage terms. Drawing on our knowledge and experience, our licensing team is adept at clearing obscure tracks and traversing the complex world of music rights management. We work within your budget and timeline to secure the necessary permissions and ensure full compliance. From clearance requests to final cue sheets, we manage the entire licensing process.
On-Camera Supervision
We cover all aspects of on-set music supervision, beginning with initial creative discussions and script breakdowns. We integrate seamlessly into the busy production unit, working closely with all departments, including ADs, sound, art, graphics and camera, to ensure every aspect of the on-set music is covered accurately, whilst respecting the busy on-set environment. We manage vocal and instrumental coaching for actors in order to produce authentic on-camera performances as well as source and hire musicians and character doubles for on-set work, managing all costs aspects throughout.
Post-Production
We oversee the submission of all music deliverables until project completion. This includes the creation and delivery of original scores, managing the relationship between composers, directors, and production teams. Our work includes scheduling recording sessions, hiring orchestras and musicians, ensuring that the score aligns with the creative vision and budget. We handle contractor agreements, studio bookings, and all logistical aspects of score production from composition through to the final mix, including the complete delivery of all music elements and paperwork.
