Martin Stig Andersen to Score ‘Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus’

“Proving that you can’t keep a good gun-totin’, hatchet-wieldin’, Nazi-killin’ badass down, BJ Blazkowicz is back in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus”.

This year, Bethesda at E3 announced upcoming game Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus which is due for release on October 27 2017.  Produced by MachineGames, the new game is a sequel to Wolfenstein: New Order, which is set in America 1961. Similarly to New Order, the game has us playing BJ Blazkowicz, who begins his new adventure while still recovering from the assassination of Nazi General Deathshead. There are familiar faces from New Order who come back for more as well as a few new faces.

We are delighted to announce that Air Edel’s most recently signed composer Martin Stig Andersen will be writing the score for this new release. Martin is best known for his award-winning work within video games, with his audio for Playdead’s video game ‘Limbo’ winning Outstanding Achievement in Sound Design at the Interactive Achievement Awards. He was also nominated at the BAFTA Video Games Awards in 2011.  After the release of ‘Limbo’, Playdead’s ‘Inside’ featured sound design and original composition by Martin and won Best Audio at the Game Developers Choice Awards 2017. He was also nominated at the BAFTA Video Games Awards in 2011.
