Adrian Van Velsen is an independent music editor based in Los Angeles. After studying Music Recording and Piano at the Royal Dutch Conservatory in The Hague and The Utrecht School of the Arts, he graduated with a Masters Degree in Interactive Multimedia from the Royal College of Art in London. After working seven years in the LA recording industry with artists such as Mary J. Blige, Art Garfunkel, LL Cool J, Ice-Cube, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, Adrian moved into music editing as an employee of LowDown Music, headed up by Fernand Bos.
Adrian has been working as a music editor for over 10 years on many TV series: GILMORE GIRLS, JERICHO and HARPER'S ISLAND and Feature Films such as FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION, A MIGHTY WIND, THE GAME, 2012, and CRAZY HEART. He just finished working with T-Bone Burnett on a pilot for the brand new EPIX cable network called "Tough Trade" and has most recently started work on ABC's new hit series BODY OF PROOF.
