Alison Wright
Alison Wright is a music supervisor, score co-ordinator and score producer.
Alison Wright was a flautist in the National Youth Orchestra of Wales and studied music at Leicester University, specialising in conducting and composing.
After graduating with a BA (Hons) and MPhil (Psychology of Music), she worked as a music teacher and lecturer in addition to conducting a number of orchestras. In 2000 she undertook an MMus in film and television composition at the London College of Music and Media, graduating with distinction. In 2005 and 2006 she was also resident conductor of Reading University Symphony Orchestra, and has for several years been assistant examiner in composition for A level Music (Excel board).
In 2002, Alison joined Air-Edel and has since gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of composer management, music business and copyright law. Her work includes deal negotiation, contracting, budgeting, source clearances, musician contracting, and supervising all aspects of score production. Alison has worked on such films as The Rocket Post, The Escapist, Severance, The Secret of Moonacre, A Bunch of Amateurs and Doghouse.
