‘The Deep’ scored by Nerida Tyson-Chew and ‘Stick Man‘ orchestrated and music produced by Terry Davies have won Kids Screen Awards.

Hosted by comedian Darrin Rose and exclusively sponsored by the Canada Media Fund, the ceremony was held yesterday evening during Kidscreen Summit, which is currently underway in Miami.

With four awards each, NBCUniversal-owned preschool net Sprout and Magic Light Pictures (Stick Man) earned the most nods, while Netflix took home the Broadcasting category’s coveted Channel of the Year prize.

‘The Deep’  produced by DHX Media/A Stark Productions won ‘Best New Series’. The series tells of the adventures of the Nekton family, a family of daring underwater explorers who live aboard a state-of-the-art submarine, The Aronnax, and explore uncharted areas of the earth’s oceans to unravel the mysteries of the deep.

Terry has been conducting the live screenings of ‘Stick Man’ across the United Kingdom. The film tells the story of Stick Man who lives in the family tree with his Stick Lady Love and their stick children three, and he’s heading on an epic adventure across the seasons. But will he get back to his family in time for Christmas?
